Emeric Jacob
Emeric Jacob lives and works on the shores of the Mediterranean with a passion for the sea. Her approach has led her for almost 10 years to explore numerous wild or urban sites always linked to water and shores, to gleaning waste, “fragments of lives filled with banality”. “In the midst of questioning man's role in climate change, art plays an essential role in our awareness. Have we entered the Anthropocene air? Have we taken control of the earth? Until when ? »
An experimental harmony emerges from his works, provoking feelings that are as joyful as they are meditative. A true celebration of reality in what is both beautiful and disturbing. Emeric Jacob has this source of inspiration, anticipation, alert, change and resilience; a fundamental and inexhaustible resource to support the ecological transition.
