The graphic research of movement!
Max Dejardin is a painter and sculptor, a former student of the Nîmes School of Fine Arts.
He has represented the Camargue in numerous cities across France and abroad. It is in the former Temple of Gallician that he opens the doors of his artist's studio, where painting and sculpture will reveal all their secrets.
His work is based on the graphic research of movement, going to the essential and finding the right gesture is his quest.
His favorite themes are the Camargue, animals, nature, and the people who live there. His materials are painting and sculpture; metal for the sculpture of the bull Le Sanglier at the Cailar roundabout, reconstituted stone for the bust of Fanfonne Guillierme on the Place d'Aimargues.
Public reception
His workshop in the former Gallician Temple is open to the public every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and by appointment.
