Discover the Camargue region of the Gard department, a land of traditions!
Olivier, former gardian * (* guardian of a herd of Camargue bulls in a manade ) will take you on board his 4x4 to discover the fauna and flora.
Throughout your journey, he will share his love of Camargue traditions with you by taking you on a visit to a manade ( cattle ranch). You will also discover the unique profession of manadier (cattle herder) and meet the horses roaming in semi-freedom, the pink flamingos, and the Camargue bulls in their pastures.
He will also let you taste local produce .
Reception of the public
Open from April 1st to November 15th, from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.
The meeting point will be arranged when you book your appointment with Olivier, your guide. Passengers can be picked up at the Gallician Marina if you are travelling by boat on the Rhône-Sète Canal.
Departure for a 3.5-hour ride , in the morning, afternoon or early evening.
