Marie and Jean-Élie welcome you to a unique place in Le Cailar, Le Mas Les Hourtès. The property belonged originally to Bernard de MONTAUT-MANSE (born in 1893 - died in 1958), French lawyer, Poet, Félibre of the Provençal language and Manadier, then to Jean Lafont.
Services: visit of the manade, ferrade, livestock sorting, Camargue races demonstration and meals of local specialties. Large Gard stones arena.
Additional services: room rental (laupio, outdoor shelter and a large reception room) for all type of events, summer Camarguaises vigils, winter country breakfast, mariage...

Authentic and passionate manadiers.
Some Camargue bull breeders, the manadiers, share their passion and their know-how with the public they welcome. Their traditional services are aimed primarily at groups (presentation of breeding, sorting, ferrade, cow race in their own arena, gardians games and meals with local flavors) but also to individuals at Camarguaises vigils. A Quality Charter, of which the Jean-Élie Agnel manade is a signatory, guaranteeing a welcome and a quality service.
